One of the great things about radio is that it is a social leveler. There are no visual barriers because nobody cares what you look like. And it is one of the most intimate forms of communication ever created.

However, the radio landscape is changing at a faster pace than ever before. FM is going DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast), Pirate Stations are applying for licenses and there is an irreversible trend towards greater access. New technology is allowing listeners to also become the creators.

Ability Radio is at the forefront of these exciting new trends. We give students the training and the tools to broadcast as near as possible to industry standard. Our aim is to produce great, inspiring radio for everyone in the community.
